In connection with a landmark exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History, this in-person conversation explores the lives and legacies of Overseas Chinese in California from the 19th to mid-20th centuries. Curator and historian Dr. Sonia Ng will highlight rare artifactsβ€”many on loan from CHSAβ€”used to tell powerful stories of migration, exclusion, and cultural resilience. The talk will be followed by a wine and food reception.
