🏷️ Description:
A surrealist dialect salon and late-night gathering where language, memory, and cuisine intersect. Set 12 hours behind Wuhan, this “breakfast after dusk” transforms the gallery space into a sonic kitchen and archive of Hubei dialect. Featuring performances, reflections, and food rituals by Chiarina Chen, John Tsung, Siyi Chen, Jiaoyang Li, Ou Ning, and Tang Xue. Guests will experience dialect lessons, poetry by Yu Xiuhua and Qu Yuan, and short films on Wuhan culture.
Part of the ongoing Accent Sisters Dialect Corner, this session resists standardization and honors the broken, fugitive voice of diaspora.

🎧 Sounds, screenings, and sonic activations will accompany the meal.
♿ Accessibility: Step-free entry, elevator, service animal welcome, varied seating.
